About S.A.L.S.

S.A.L.S. is a non-profit organization founded four years ago by a group of four women, officially recognized as a non-profit in 2024 with six women. The organization has significantly impacted the community by providing Bags of Love to individuals facing housing instability and distributing water and snacks to those in need. 

One of S.A.L.S.'s key initiatives is its clothing giveaway events, where community members can receive free clothing, shoes, and accessories. These events aim to create a welcoming environment for individuals to choose items that fit their needs and preferences, helping restore dignity and confidence during tough times. 

In addition to providing immediate support, S.A.L.S. assists individuals with financial challenges, such as paying utility bills, filling out applications, and accessing various assistance programs. The organization promotes financial literacy and empowerment through classes and coaching to help individuals improve their financial skills. 

With a strong commitment to uplifting individuals and families, S.A.L.S. envisions a future where everyone has access to essential resources and support for personal and financial well-being. By addressing immediate needs and empowering individuals, S.A.L.S. strives to make a lasting difference in the community, fostering hope and resilience.
